History of Processor,What cpu does,Types of CPUs

1)History of processor

Intel first made the first single-chip microprocessor design in the world in 1971. It was invented by Intel's three engineers Federico Faggin, Ted Hoff and Stan Mazo. This chip, named Intel 4004.
Microprocessor, was designed in such a manner that all processing functions such as CPU, Memory,Input and Output Control were kept in the same chip. Slowly new innovations have taken place over time, due to which there has been a lot of change in computer design. The efficiency of their work increased and their size decreased. Now in the world of Intel, the world of Processor is behind. They make processors of every variety according to the needs of the people.

2)What cpu does

The CPU basically works three basic functions, the first takes this information, the second acts on it, and returns the result after the third calculation. But to do these three processes, it has to use some key components. In the ALU (Arithmetic and Logic Unit) binary, subtraction and addition.

They also do some logical operations like AND, NOT and OR, for CPU help. Control Circuit data traffic directs it from CPU to slower Input / Output devices, so that traffic can be exchanged and provided. Memory Management Unit monitors the flow of data to and from Memory

3)Types of CPUs

In the last few years, many types of CPU have been invented. As time went by, new CPUs came in as required. The number used to identify the first processor. For example, the Intel 80486 (486) processor is much faster than the 80386 processor. Ever since Intel came out of the Pentium Processor (technically these are 80586), since then the names of the processors are as follows: Athlon, Duron, Pentium and Celeron.

Nowadays, along with the name, their architecture has also changed, generally the only two types of architecture with Architecture are used like 32 Bit and 64 Bit. Thanks to these architecture, the speed and capabilities of the processor have also increased significantly. Like AMD Opteron series and Intel Itanium, Xeon Series processor is used in server and high-end station. And if you talk about small devices like smart phones and tablets, then they use ARM Processor. These processors are usually small in size, they require less power and they produce very little heat.
