History of Wi-Fi

WiFi was born on 1985. When the United State FCC made it allan, wireless Wireless Frequency 900MHZ, 2.4 Ghz and 5.8 Ghz can use any license without any license. Then its history had begun.
Perhaps you would not know these bands were used in home appliances such as Microwave Therefore it was believed that there is no use for them. There is no use in communication especially in the communication. Therefore, the FCC made its use mandatory to make this band worthwhile. Named after Speard Spectrum Technology.

The license of Spread spectrum technology was taken on 1941. The licenses were to be taken by George Antheil and Actor Hedy Lamarr. This was the technology through which the signals were sent with multiple frequencies. There may be nothing to do with this change, but after that technology, there was considerable improvement in wireless signals. It failed to solve the Technology Interference Problems. Because the mobile phones of that time already had Radio Install. Because of which the quality of the signals had significant effect.

At the same time, a technology was emerging, which was named WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network), which had many technical problems. There was no standard of WLAN. There was a lot of conflicts in connecting different Company's Devices.

In 1988 the then NCR Corporation needed a wireless cash registrar. That is why with the cooperation of Victor Hayes and Bruce Tuch, he had passed the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) to make a standard. Standard was created in 1997 and the name of which was very attractive was the name "802.11". It was published in 1997 itself.
At that time, the speed of the DATA transfer in 802.11 standard was about 2 megabits per second. In 1999 it was published 802.11a. The speed of which was about 54 megabits per second. It was quite expensive so its next version was published, which was named 802.11b. It was started with WiFi Technology, this version was cheap and the Range of this network was also very much.

802.11b Because of the folk darling within a short span of time, Wireless Technology was in a way bound. It quickly established its status in the Hardware Market. Due to range and compatibility, there was quite a reason.

For this reason, 6 companies constituted a Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance, or WECA. Through which it was tested whether WiFi is Copitability or not.

In 2002, he was taken from the word Wi-Fi, Wireless and, a word HiFi. The name of which began to be known by the Wi-Fi Alliance a few years later Now you can understand what is the history of WiFi.
